Requirements
- Master of Social Work (MSW) or doctorate in social work
- A minimum of five years of practice experience post-MSW or doctorate upon initial hire
- Substantive expertise and experience in behavioral health, military/veterans populations, or political social work and political advocacy
- Demonstrate mastery of effective, student-centered teaching
- Commitment to teaching in-person in Columbus, OH
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the potential for, or success in, collaborating effectively with students and staff, community members, and scholars within and outside of the university
- Create an inclusive learning environment and attract, teach, and mentor students, fostering their academic and professional growth
- Demonstrate openness and creativity in embracing diversity of thought and show attentiveness to inclusion in approaches to teaching, mentoring, and outreach efforts
- Actively contribute as a member of the college and university
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with implementing and leading changes in curriculum is preferred
- Professional licensure credentialing or certification in one or more areas of practice is also preferred
