Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) License in the state of practice Required
- 2 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting is required
- CPR certification is required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required where necessary
Responsibilities
- Manage the nursing staff within a specific department
- Assist with staffing if the need arises
- Lead quality initiatives
- Assist with educational needs of the department
Preferred Qualifications
- Some type of leadership experience (team lead/charge, house supervisor or past managerial experience)
- ED experience preferred but not required
- 2 years’ experience in a charge nurse lead nurse or related position is preferred
- Bachelors Nursing Preferred
