Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- 2+ years of prior experience in a lead barista position or equivalent
- Experienced and familiar with the culture of Starbucks to be able to lead and train baristas
- Knowledge of all menu items, including mixing and serving beverages, standard beverage recipes, preparation methods, glassware, garnishes, products, menu items, supplies and equipment
- Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Experience managing employees using a Collective Bargaining Agreement
- Knowledge of health, safety and sanitation regulations
Responsibilities
- Be on the floor assisting on the line with beverages and food items as needed depending on business volume
- Help supervise two Starbucks and 48th and Crepe at the New York New York property
- Supervise baristas and lead baristas to ensure quality assurance
- Review daily schedules and manage time off and vacation requests; coach and train on policies, procedures, and performance
- Train team on new drinks and meal items
- Order supplies through the IP System and Purchasing
