Requirements
- DDS/DMD degree or equivalent
- Certificate from a CODA-accredited advanced education program in pediatric dentistry
- Candidate for board certification by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry
- Qualifications required to obtain an Ohio dental license and sedation permit
- Credentialed at the OSUCOD
- Obtain a medical staff appointment at NCH
Responsibilities
- Didactic teaching and clinical instruction and supervision of residents
- Supervision of dental and dental hygiene students in all sites of patient care
- Provide direct patient care in a hospital-based practice
- Participate in scholarly activity
- Rotate on-call duties with other full-time faculty
- Contribute to the overall mission of the division and department
- Participate in university, college, and hospital governance
- Provide support to the college’s continuing education programs
