Requirements
- PhD in the history of art or a related discipline (ABD candidates considered, but PhD must be completed by the start date)
- Evidence of a commitment to developing a significant program of research
- Commitment to excellence in teaching and advising
- Experience with and interest in contributing to anti-racism and anti-oppression goals
- Evidence of equitable considerations and inclusive practices in curriculum development
Responsibilities
- Lead survey-level courses, upper-level undergraduate courses, and graduate seminars
- Anticipated course load of 2-2
- Advise majors, minors, and MA and PhD students
- Provide service to the department, college, university, and field
Preferred Qualifications
- Preferred research focus on African American, Asian American, Native Nations, Latinx, and/or Queer Studies
