Requirements
- Ph.D. in Microbiology or related field at the time of hiring.
Responsibilities
- Teach an intermediate microbiology course that is a core course in the biology curriculum.
- Teach additional courses for non-majors and an upper-level molecular or cellular course.
- Team-teach introductory biology courses.
- Contribute to the Environmental Studies major.
- Develop a lab-based research program that includes undergraduates.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ph.D. and Postdoctoral training.
- Teaching experience and/or professional development at the undergraduate level.
