Requirements

  • Degree in forestry or related field (e.g. ecology, evolution, biology, natural resources management) with PhD degree requirements complete by the appointment date
  • Strong evidence for conducting and publishing innovative research

  • Potential for success in mentoring and advising students

Responsibilities

  • Develop an externally funded, high impact interdisciplinary research program on forest adaptation under global change
  • Teach one graduate and one undergraduate course in tree ecophysiology
  • Teach one additional course that aligns with the candidate’s expertise and department curricular needs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working across scales of biodiversity, from genes to ecosystems
