Requirements
- Candidates must have a DDS/DMD degree or equivalent degree.
- Must be eligible for a regular or limited teaching license by the Ohio State Dental Board.
Responsibilities
- Promote evidence-based teaching skills in an education setting and a strong track record of scholarly activity.
- Demonstrate a passion for student education.
- Apply advanced technology to enhance teaching and learning.
- Participate in teaching activities consistent with division goals.
- Demonstrate effective teaching skills through student and peer reviews.
- Support a dental education model that incorporates innovative technologies, interdisciplinary education and patient care, and evidence-based clinical dentistry.
- Provide interdisciplinary mentoring to students.
- Demonstrate collaboration between college divisions.
- Membership in professional organizations and contributions to professional activities outside the university.
Preferred Qualifications
- Teaching experience preferred.
- Experience in the application of advanced digital technology in dental education preferred.
- An MS, PhD, EdD, or other advanced degree preferred.
- Board certification by the American Board of Prosthodontics is highly desirable.
