Responsibilities

  • Day to day supervision of the events team members in support of the Meetings and Events program
  • Oversee and coordinate with event support staff and third-party vendors
  • Independently manage and execute high-level special events as requested by the Amazon Event Organizer
  • Lead comprehensive event planning, including site visits, planning meetings, and final details meetings with stakeholders
  • Develop and implement new policies and procedures
  • Analyze and optimize existing operational procedures
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for operations and service levels
  • Track and analyze team performance metrics
  • Prepare and present monthly performance reports to Program Delivery Manager
  • Other duties as assigned in support of the Amazon Meetings & Events program

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of event management or relevant hospitality experience
  • Demonstrated experience in team leadership and project management
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Event Management, Hospitality Management, or related field
