Responsibilities

  • Develop an externally funded research program focusing on utilizing whole genome sequences and other molecular tools to investigate the population dynamics and evolutionary processes that lead to the development of epidemics of plant pathogenic bacteria
  • Engage professionally with a diverse population of faculty, staff, and students across the university
  • Collaborate closely with faculty from across the College and University including the One Health Microbiome Center
