Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Support the Global Editorial Director and senior editors with daily operational needs including:
  • Create and track calendars, meetings, events, calls, packages, and emails.
  • Arrange travel, expenses, payments, and invoices.
  • Coordinate social media assets for content promotion.
  • Monitor reader email, and create related responses, as needed.
  • Appear at local events in support of the Global Editorial Director, as needed.
  • Create content and support content creation including:
  • Write clever captions, heds, deks; research, transcribe interviews, edit, and optimize content; and pitch ideas and write approved stories and scripts for print, digital, and video.
  • Produce monthly print content for digital use.
  • Research, produce, update, and coordinate design-related features, commerce, profiles, and round-ups.
  • Coordinate assets/production/permissions for global digital syndication.
  • Assemble fact sheets and other story assets.
  • Assist the editorial team in defining a strong, multi-platform editorial offering that speaks to a new generation of design enthusiasts.
  • Keep abreast of global trends in line with global AD content.
  • Assist with compiling and organizing materials for pitch meetings and run-throughs.
  • Communicate with companies and PR organizations on behalf of editors.
