Requirements
- 2-3 years of prior Marketing experience required, preferably with direct responsibility for product commercialization, brand planning, messaging, and communications
- Experience leveraging consumer insights to develop effective marketing campaigns and innovation programs
- Experience in creative / media development and execution and new product launches
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, or equivalent experience
- Reading and writing in French would be considered an asset
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of Ninja brand strategies that align to overall business goals and objectives
- Work cross functionally to define product pricing and placement strategy
- Understand positioning, competitive landscape and market / consumer needs
- Collaborate with Product Development, Creative Services and Marketing Services (media, PR, retail marketing) teams to develop and execute brand building communication strategies and go-to-market plans including, PR, collateral and social / digital
- Collaborate with Program Management, Product Development, Brand Marketing and Creative teams on the localization and translation of all marketing materials for our Canadian SKUs
- Communicate product value proposition to the sales team and partner with SS&A to deliver a compelling sell story
- Conduct post evaluation and analysis of activities and performance, recommending improvements and evolutions of future brand marketing and commercial initiatives
- Support development and implementation of best practices and proven success drivers across all consumer and customer touchpoints
- Develop creative briefs for consumer and retailer facing messaging, manage creative reviews and ensure execution delivers on the right consumer insights and product benefits
