Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in digital marketing or a similar function, preferably with holistic exposure across digital marketing functions
  • Experience working with a CMS and managing web projects; strong working knowledge of website development process
  • Experience with marketing technology across channels, including email service providers, and familiarity with Salesforce
  • A solid understanding of website analytics and tagging; experience in Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager or equivalent tools preferred
  • Exceptional project management, organizational and communication skills; ability to translate deliverables into clear project requirements and timelines
  • Strong writing skills, understanding of design principles, awareness of digital best practices regarding content, design, user experience
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize into meaningful insights and recommendations
  • Ability to prioritize deliverables, meet business-sensitive deadlines and maintain strong attention to detail in a dynamic setting
  • Ability to problem-solve independently and as part of a team
  • Highly motivated, team player, eager to roll up sleeves in an entrepreneurial environment

Responsibilities

  • Manage AWMS website projects from requirements to launch across AWMS brand, product and thought leadership initiatives (ex. single webpages, multi-webpage experiences, enhancements), working through content, design, UX and development in collaboration with Head of Digital Marketing, Ares stakeholders and creative and development teams
  • Collaborate with Ares stakeholders to define complex project requirements and translate to deliverables that address business needs and integrate digital best practices; work closely with creative and development teams to execute
  • Oversee ongoing publishing of regular website content and updates
  • Project manage timelines and lead communication between stakeholders and collaborators
  • Work with Head of Digital Marketing to build out website roadmap and align projects to scalable web strategies
  • Develop framework for regular website reporting and analysis; present recommendations for optimizations and strategy refinement
  • Support SEO strategy, including optimization of AWMS webpages, and oversight of SEM campaigns
  • Partner with broader Marketing team on multi-channel campaigns across web, email marketing and social media to drive lead generation
  • Engage with digital marketing initiatives across email marketing and marketing data & analytics as opportunities arise

Preferred Qualifications

  • Financial services or a highly regulated industry experience preferred; B2B experience preferred
  • Experience with SEO, SEM a plus
