Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in global influencer and social media marketing, with a focus on brand, community management and content strategy.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful global influencer strategies that drives engagement, community and business growth.
- Ample experience with managing always-on global content strategies as mandatory.
- Demonstrated knowledge of emerging trends and talent, with a finger on the pulse of what is relevant in our culture and societies today.
- An intimate understanding of the current social / digital as well as activations landscape and the unique advocacy strategies across platforms.
- Expertise in both organic and paid advocacy strategies.
- Experience managing and mentoring teams, with a strong ability to inspire and develop talent.
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams and foster a culture of creativity and innovation.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making, adept at analyzing performance metrics and optimizing strategies accordingly.
- Passion for storytelling and brand building, with a keen eye for creative excellence and consumer-centric content development.
Responsibilities
- Own the strategy for how SDJ interacts with communities around the world– identifying innovative ways to permeate culture while driving global consumer relevance
- Build a best-in-class infrastructure to develop socially native, language-agnostic content and campaigns for both organic and paid initiatives
- Craft an influencer framework & playbook that supports both organic and paid initiatives and intentionally builds our community
- Define global storytelling opportunities and larger scale partnerships – leveraging market trends, consumer insights and identifying the white spaces
- Lead the brand advocacy roadmap in partnership with key cross functional partners on the Global Consumer team, prioritizing always-on storytelling and key launch moments
- Forge relationships with diverse global creators that produce premium, universal content – with a discerning eye on up-and-coming talent
- Have a deep understand of content mandatories based on organic and paid channels and how to develop strategies in line with each
- Oversee partnerships and relationships ensuring campaigns, deliverables and creative drive action, and amplify our brand values
- Administer influencer guidelines, toolkits and briefs in partnership with consumer engagement and social teams to support breakthrough and on-brand content development for 360 go-to-market plans as well as stand-alone global moments
- Collaborate with and support regional teams to adapt initiatives, implementing and upholding a feedback loop that ensures execution aligns with regional preferences and maintains brand consistency
- Drive business goals utilizing a disruptive approach to influencer, creator and consumer marketing – with a focus on engagement, globally relevant cultural resonance, brand awareness & EMV
- Define global KPIS on an annual and launch basis for the global organization
- Develop standardized reporting templates at a global level to communicate insights, optimizing results and thinking nimbly to maximize all campaigns and content
- Manage partnership with existing vendors while identifying areas of opportunity for required resources to scale our global advocacy program
- Leverage platform partners (YouTube, Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.) to glean insights and inform strategies for both paid and organic influencer & creator tactics
