Requirements
- BA/BS in technical field or related area
- 10+ years of demonstrated experience in Quality, preferably in FDA or other highly regulated space
- At least 2 years of experience outside of Quality (ie, cross-functional business experience, Supply Chain operations or R&D) or MBA
- 5+ years people management experience
- Proven record of leading, developing, and managing quality improvement initiatives
- ASQ or other applicable quality certification
- Broad knowledge of quality applications, product development and manufacturing processes
- Deep experience in quality systems and management
- Strong understanding of QMS technology, including SAP S4/Hana
- Ability to travel 10% of the time, as needed
Responsibilities
- Set vision and lead continuous improvement projects to optimize processes, reduce defects and enhance overall quality
- Develop change management strategy and design and deliver training programs to equip organization with necessary knowledge and skills to achieve quality standards
- Establish key performance indicators (KPI’s) to measure quality performance and track against specific goals
- Provide people leadership and manage a team of direct reports
- Conduct regular one-one-one and any other staff meetings to ensure timely communication with direct reports
- Provide formal performance reviews and career development planning for all direct reports
- Create strong training and development program within organization to deliver quality career pathways and robust succession plan
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA preferred but not required
- Experience defining, leading and delivering large-scale change management programs
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal business communication skills
- Proven relationship skills with proven ability to achieve sustainable partnerships and internal and external collaboration
- Adaptable, curious, and comfortable with new technologies
- Experience driving and developing Culture of Quality across different global regions
