Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline with 0 years of relevant engineering experience for Associate Electronics Engineer or 2 years of relevant engineering experience for Electronics Engineer; OR a Master’s Degree in a STEM discipline with 0 years of relevant engineering experience.
- Experience in or knowledge of scripting/programming languages such as Python
- Working knowledge of routing & switching concepts and protocols
- Some familiarity with network simulation tools and load testing (e.g. CML, GNS3)
- Ability to obtain and maintain Security+ Certificate with CE or equivalent certification under DoD 8570.01-M. This certificate must be obtained within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
- Active in-Scope, DoD Top Secret clearance.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (SAP/PAR). This SAP/PAR must be obtained within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
Responsibilities
- Network configuration file management
- Generate/release network diagrams
- Generate/release network configuration guides & network config files
- Support troubleshooting & issue resolution
- Provide documentation for network changes
- Install/configure/troubleshoot network devices at a variety of locations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent certification
- Experience deploying, configuring, and hardening Network Devices
- Familiar with Spine and Leaf architecture
- Familiar with Agile methodology
- Familiar with version control, GIT experience preferred
- Ability to author and maintain technical installation, configuration, and update documentation
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management
