Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline with 0 years of relevant engineering experience for Associate Electronics Engineer or 2 years of relevant engineering experience for Electronics Engineer; OR a Master’s Degree in a STEM discipline with 0 years of relevant engineering experience.
  • Experience in or knowledge of scripting/programming languages such as Python
  • Working knowledge of routing & switching concepts and protocols
  • Some familiarity with network simulation tools and load testing (e.g. CML, GNS3)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Security+ Certificate with CE or equivalent certification under DoD 8570.01-M. This certificate must be obtained within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
  • Active in-Scope, DoD Top Secret clearance.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (SAP/PAR). This SAP/PAR must be obtained within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Network configuration file management
  • Generate/release network diagrams
  • Generate/release network configuration guides & network config files
  • Support troubleshooting & issue resolution
  • Provide documentation for network changes
  • Install/configure/troubleshoot network devices at a variety of locations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent certification
  • Experience deploying, configuring, and hardening Network Devices
  • Familiar with Spine and Leaf architecture
  • Familiar with Agile methodology
  • Familiar with version control, GIT experience preferred
  • Ability to author and maintain technical installation, configuration, and update documentation
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management
