Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in 2LOD roles
- Bachelor’s degree required
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to manage well under pressure and tight deadlines
- Ability to handle complexity and work in a matrix environment
- Diplomatic and constructive in negotiation, excellent stakeholder management skills required
- Highly self motivated / independent and self starter
- Pragmatic, delivery oriented attitude
- Good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrates analytical mindset
- Advanced MS Office Suite skills (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
- Ideally with coding skills (Phyton and or VBA)
Responsibilities
- Assist in the integration of RBC Frameworks into WM U.S. and GAM U.S, businesses, including the development and maintenance policies, standards and procedures to ensure consistency with RBC policy architecture and regulatory expectations.
- Collaborate with business leads to operationalise Enterprise Frameworks in a manner that captures the Wealth Management/Global Asset Management specific risks.
- Partner with business and control functions to embed risk governance principles, adopting new or revised risk frameworks, and supporting their adherence.
- Participate in the enhancement of WM U.S and GAM U.S.’s Risk Governance model, formalising committee structures, and roles and responsibilities in alignment with the Three Lines of Defence Model.
- Support the Head Of Risk, GRM WM U.S., Senior Director GRM WM North America and the broader team with ad hoc queries including those from both Internal and External Stakeholders.
