Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 3-5 years’ experience in the power sector.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Perform energy market research and analysis in order to communicate market intelligence with team and other business units.
- Identify new origination prospects, propose outreach strategy for all products and technologies under development, including key customer messaging.
- Assist in the development of proposals and pricing for opportunities while working with cross-functional teams.
- Support the origination, structuring, and closing of large wholesale power transactions in coordination with the Commercial Transactions team.
- Develop and maintain strong customer and business relationships.
- Develop marketing collateral to support sales and marketing strategy, customer outreach and strategic communication.
- Maintain comprehensive records of submitted proposals and pricing models.
- Maintain CRM software with latest status on outreach efforts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of the electric utility industry and electric energy markets.
- Experience with PPA structures and contracting.
- Working knowledge of RTO operations, electric transmission, power generation, and storage technologies.
- Track record of success in a development or sales capacity in the clean energy sector.
- Strong sales, networking, leadership, negotiation and time management skills.
- Outstanding problem solving, strategic thinking, verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
- Ability to make decisions with limited information.
- Demonstrated ability to perform under significant time and pressure conditions.
