Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in Patient Support Programs or the pharmaceutical industry; experience with launching and operationalizing patient services at the vendor level is a strong asset.
  • Post-secondary education, preferably in health sciences.
  • Strong problem-solving skills in dynamic environments.
  • Self-motivated, driven, and committed to delivering results at a high standard.
  • Proficient in project, time, and financial management, with strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Adaptable and capable of supporting change management both internally and externally.
  • Effective in a collaborative, matrixed environment with a cross-functional approach.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills for implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the AstraZeneca Patient Centre of Excellence team to deliver seamless services to patients and partners, establishing AstraZeneca as an innovative leader.
  • Actively engage with cross-functional teams to ensure a patient-first approach.
  • Facilitate efficient management of third-party vendor relationships to enhance patient programs and improve the patient journey.
  • Contribute to project implementation focused on optimizing patient management and outcomes.
  • Support the team with budgeting, procurement, and financial reconciliations, ensuring compliance with vendor contracts.
  • Assist in monitoring and evaluating patient service programs.
  • Aid in issue management across all portfolios.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree;
  • Working knowledge of Pricing Strategy and Managed Care impact;
  • Financial modelling and/or analytics
