Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience as an associate product manager or data analyst, or equivalent experience working with quantitative and qualitative data.

  • Demonstrated experience in effectively communicating information, ideas, and perspectives with people inside and beyond your organization.
  • Experience in showcasing initiative to make improvements to current work, processes, products, and services across the organization.
  • Ability to ask appropriate questions, analyze data, identify the root causes of problems, and present creative solutions.
  • Expertise in building strong internal and external relationships with customers and stakeholders, instilling trust and loyalty across the industry.
  • Eagerness to develop a fundamental understanding of how Nexamp operates and then apply that knowledge effectively to inform business decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Listen to customers’ calls 50% of your time to help understand common Nexamp customer problems.
  • Learn about consumer-facing billing propositions and how internal tooling enables them.
  • Tackle ad-hoc projects related to customer billing to gain context of the internal tooling ecosystem.
  • Become a key liaison between CX and Product teams, supporting documentation of features and processes.
  • Identify and understand key user problems, document them, and connect them to customer and business problems.
  • Help build out the backlog by coordinating and performing user interviews, concept/usability testing, observation sessions, and diving into data via business intelligence tools.
  • Help develop business cases to invest in certain capabilities by leveraging data and qualitative insights.
  • Communicate findings and research to align teams on the right problems to solve.
  • Collaborate with design, engineering, internal stakeholders, and other product managers to develop solutions.
  • Translate high-level solutions and designs into user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
  • Track and report on product health metrics and feature performance.
  • Run agile ceremonies (project kickoffs, standup, grooming, retro).

Preferred Qualifications

  • SQL fluency highly desirable.
