Requirements
- B.S. with 4 years or M.S. with 2+ years in Analytical Chemistry or related fields of industrial experience in biologics analytical development.
- Experience with analytical method development of biologic products in CMC
- Hands-on proficiency and problem-solving skills with HPLC, CE-SDS, iCIEF, LC-MS, gel electrophoresis, etc.
- Strong communication skills- written, oral, etc.
Responsibilities
- Develop analytical methods for biologic products using HPLC (size exclusion, ion exchange, reversed phase, etc.), CE (iCIEF, CE-SDS) and mass spectrometry (LC-MS, LC-MS/MS, CE-MS, ToF, Oribtrap, etc.).
- Execute and support analytical methods to be used for release testing and characterization.
- Acquire and interpret data for molecule characterization and process development studies.
- Maintain strong documentation practices (clearly, timely, and accurately) for recording experimental plans and results in electronic laboratory notebook and associated reports.
- Assist in troubleshooting of instrumentation and test methods.
- Able to work well independently and in a team setting on assigned tasks, such as method development and testing.
- Participate in group meetings, present results of work, interpret data, and draw conclusions regarding presented material and nature of work.
- Work in collaboration with more senior scientists to design experiments and advance state-of-the-art techniques.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with lab automation, data science, knowledge management is a plus.
