Requirements

  • University Degree in Business or related field
  • Project management skills
  • Experience in mining and analysis of data and databases as well as the development/production of reports
  • Strong presentation skills, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to execute quality documentation
  • Business Process Improvement – ability to identify, document and implement solutions
  • Proven ability to partner with key internal/external risk stakeholders – ETPR/GRM, Suppliers
  • Ability to prioritize and be highly adaptable, flexible, and effective
  • Strong problem-solving skills – Accurately defines problems and identifies relevant factors. Objectively considers alternatives and anticipates impact of possible solutions
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel, Word, Power Point skills. Including ability to use excel functions
  • Good level understanding of RBC’s infrastructure services and organization. Specifically, SRMA Archer and Ivalua applications

Responsibilities

  • Assists in management of mandatory Supplier Manager training
  • Confirms individuals who have completed supplier manager training and assigns new supplier managers to courses
  • Manages follow-up on all issues with Workday and SMO team
  • Manages Bi-annual deep dive survey on Material Suppliers
  • Surveys tracked to completion and analyzed
  • Supports CM SMO to annually analyze spend data, and map completed Risk Assessments to confirm CM complies with Third Party Risk Standards
  • Continuous upgrades the RBC Connect site to improve user interface
  • Manage content and collecting relevant content from CMSMO and Stakeholders for content for all Communication channels
  • Provides support to CM SMO on Quarterly Newsletter preparation
  • Periodically supports CM SMO in managing supplier incidents requiring significant communication to collect, document and retention of response
  • Identify and implement opportunities and gaps with current processes and procedures
  • Supports ad-hoc requests for information on supplier portfolio and composition
  • Provides support of research regarding CM supplier base
