Requirements
- at least 1 year of experience in an insurance environment
- Basic knowledge of insurance coverage, products, and navigating carrier rating engines
- superior verbal and written communication skills
- above average computer skills
- ability to manage a large workload with minimal oversight
Responsibilities
- know the underwriting appetite and guidelines of various programs
- work closely with the underwriting team in reviewing endorsements, inspections, renewals, applications, quotes, etc.
- provide impeccable support to internal and external agents
- process work in various internal systems including Salesforce
- problem solve complex customer service and underwriting issues
- maintain a high degree of accuracy in documenting underwriting files
Preferred Qualifications
- experience underwriting dwelling fire and homeowners products
