Requirements
- Regular vision and attention to detail
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions
- Basic working knowledge of computers
- Ability to learn, differentiate, and retain information regarding product lines/locations
- Promote sales through courteous and friendly customer service
- Occasional amounts of pushing/pulling loads up to 20 lb
- Frequent amounts of handling, standing, and reaching
- Constant amounts of walking, crouching, and bending
- Operation of cash register, video display unit, POS, printer, computer, and pricing gun
Responsibilities
- Create signs and tags to maintain accurate pricing throughout the store
- Maintain accurate pricing files for all departments
- Minimize shrink by ensuring all price discrepancies are resolved immediately
- Interact with Receiver and vendors
- Ensure all equipment is treated/maintained properly
- Complete all applicable paperwork
- Follow direction from the scan coordinator
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in retail or grocery operations preferred
