Automation Technician

Working knowledge of 480, 277, and 120 volt electrical systems (single and three phase)
Experience with and advanced working knowledge of Allen Bradley PLCs (Programmable Logic Controller) and network diagnostics and troubleshooting
Experience welding with stick or MIG a plus
Site inspections, equipment inspections, mechanical repairs and replacements, all which require good mobility, physical exertion, walking, bending, reaching, climbing ladders, carrying tools and parts, etc.
5-7: Hold an Associate’s Degree for Electrical or Mechanical studies or 5+ years equivalent experience in an electro-mechanical field
5-7: Ability to read and interpret electrical or electronic schematics, mechanical diagrams and Illustrated Parts Breakdowns for troubleshooting and repairs, while understanding complex automated system drawings and component specification sheets
5-7: Possess sufficient Electrical or Mechanical aptitude to replace electrical and mechanical components of Symbotic Rovers (BOTS) and perform preventive maintenance

Maintain all systems and subsystems of the Automated Storage and Retrieval System
Troubleshoot and replace fieldbus communication components on the material handling conveyor systems
Perform Preventive Maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, and adjustments on multi axis robotic arms and End Of Arm Tools
Document repairs, PMs, parts usage, and time by completing work orders in a computerized maintenance management system (Maximo)
Assist and train other automation team technicians in troubleshooting and repairs of any equipment as required
