Requirements
- 1-6 years of experience in electronics automation manufacturing
- Knowledge of electromechanical systems
- Ability to read and interpret written instructions
- Ability to use DMM
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work within a team
Responsibilities
- Assemble, install, repair, and maintain automation components and systems
- Perform preventative maintenance on production test equipment and subsystems
- Provide feedback to Manufacturing Engineering, R&D, Training, and Quality teams, regarding failure modes and frequency
- Directly support the manufacturing line to meet daily and monthly goals
- Visually inspect, test, and assemble components or subassemblies using approved assembly procedures
- Use a computer to perform testing, download information or record test data
- Use hand tools, machine tools and various types of equipment to repair and test products
- Promote a continuous improvement environment by looking for more efficient ways to perform daily duties
- Communicate effectively and work under pressure with minimal supervision
- Take initiative in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Solve problems or identify issues and assist in resolutions
- Make reasonable decisions and escalate accordingly
- Understand and comply with all ESD requirements
- Promotes a safe work environment by adhering to all safety requirements
