Requirements
- 3+ years of vehicle service and repair experience.
- Safe drivers needed; valid driver’s license required.
- The ability to drive standard, automatic, and electric vehicles.
- Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Providing highly skilled maintenance and repairs for all vehicles.
- Mechanical checks around the property and our storage facility.
- Mobile mechanical checks and repairs for anything that can be done around the Lot area.
- Nissan recall work that gets assigned.
- Amazon van tracker removal.
- GPS and breathalyzer removal.
- Steering wheel lock removals.
- Monitoring electric vehicle charging and working with operations to move vehicles to the chargers.
- Sale day support for increased volume of repo vehicles.
- Completing mechanical inspection, including required measurements, which may include interior/exterior components, engine and drive line components, under hood inspection, and documenting deficiencies.
- Complying with applicable procedures and regulations regarding recyclables, fluids, tires, and disposable trash.
- May up-fit new vehicles with necessary equipment.
- Utilizing approved vendors to obtain parts.
- May be required to perform OEM recalls.
Preferred Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED.
