Requirements
- High School Diploma
- 3 years of experience in the audio visual or event productions fields
- Ability to setup, operate, and maintain audio, lighting, video, and projection equipment and systems for events, meetings, conferences, athletic events and more
- Understanding of video and audio routing, switching, and recording
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the A/V resources and staffing needed for all internal and external events held on campus using the college’s EMS system
- Maintain and operate the A/V systems of the three primary venues (Kraushaar Auditorium, Merrick Lecture Hall, and the Atheneum venue space)
- Provide maintenance and support for numerous non-classroom spaces around campus
- Work with the Director to develop and implement new standard operating procedures for both external and internal events
- Direct and actively participate in large scale campus events to provide, run, and recommend A/V support
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Theater, Audio/Visual Technology, or a related field
- 5 years of experience running productions in a performing arts theatre and/or running corporate or higher education events
- Familiarity with digital audio consoles, including Midas and Yamaha, and also lighting consoles from ETC and others alike
- Strong industry experience in theater production, live events, or A/V management
- Familiarity with Crestron and Extron devices and networks
