Requirements
- 6+ years of experience with AWS services and infrastructure, such as EC2, S3, or Lambda
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools, such as AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Knowledge of scripting languages for automation tasks, such as Bash
- Knowledge of cloud security principles and practices, such as AWS security best practices
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- HS diploma or GED
- IAT Level II Certification, such as CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security, or CySA+
- AWS Certification
Responsibilities
- Develop cloud-based solutions for DOD’s toughest problems
- Recommend tools and solutions based on research of the current environment
- Lead a team to help the client overcome challenges in the cloud
- Inform strategy and design to ensure standards are met throughout the cloud migration process
- Broaden skill set in areas like DevOps while supporting the development of critical cloud platforms for the DOD
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AWS penetration testing
- Experience with exploit identification in an AWS environment
- Experience with DevSecOps
- Experience designing advanced networking architectures and interconnectivity solutions, such as IP VPN, MPLS, or VPLS
- Experience with version control and CI/CD tools for automating deployment and manage AWS cloud infrastructure to support applications
- Experience with container orchestration platforms
- Knowledge of routing architectures CIDR, sub-netting, and network security solutions, such as AWS WAF, IDS, and IPS
- Knowledge of multi-region solutions for a global enterprise and highly available connectivity solutions, such as AWS Direct Connect, or VPN
- Knowledge of IPv6 transition challenges and solutions
- Bachelor’s degree
