AWS Cloud Systems Operations Administrator – Senior

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in IT systems administration, including both Microsoft and Linux platforms
• Experience maintaining AWS cloud infrastructure, including patching, STIG compliance, and upgrade processes
• Experience deploying, managing, and operating workloads using the AWS Management Console and CLI
• Experience implementing security controls and compliance requirements
• Experience with system administration for Amazon EKS and traditional RHEL servers
• TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or Computer Science and 10+ years of experience with IT or Computer Science, or Master’s degree and 8+ years of experience with IT or Computer Science
• IAT Level II Certification, such as CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security, or CySA+ Certification
• AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate Certification, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) Certification, and Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) Certification

Responsibilities

• Manage, administer, support, and enhance cloud environments, ensuring continuous improvement and rapid problem resolution
• Apply extensive technical expertise and full industry knowledge
• Develop innovative solutions to complex problems
• Work without considerable direction, and mentor and supervise team members

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with container orchestration or application deployment
• Experience implementing security controls and compliance measures in AWS environments
• Experience deploying, managing, and operating workloads using the AWS Management Console and CLI
• Experience with AWS tools, such as Kubernetes, EKS, Diode, and Lambda
• Knowledge of container orchestration tools and deployment automation techniques
• Possession of excellent mentorship skills, to guide junior staff and foster team development
• Master’s degree
• Security+ and AWS SysOps Administration Associate Certifications
