Requirements
- Proven experience as an Application Development Engineer or similar role, with AWS QuickSight or other dashboard tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating data.
- Hands-on experience with Python and PySpark for data processing and analytics.
- Experience working in cloud environments, particularly with AWS services like S3, Glue, and Athena.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodology and familiarity with tools like Rally or Jira.
- Ability to mentor and guide junior team members effectively.
- Excellent documentation skills to ensure clarity and maintainability of solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively under tight timelines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy insightful dashboards and reports using AWS QuickSight.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional, user-friendly visualizations.
- Optimize dashboard performance to ensure efficiency and usability.
- Write and manage efficient SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and integration.
- Utilize Python and PySpark for advanced data analytics and transformation workflows.
- Work in an Agile environment, participating actively in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering their technical and professional growth.
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation for developed solutions, ensuring clarity and alignment with project standards.
- Manage and prioritize tasks effectively to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality deliverables. Self-directed.
- Leverage experience in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) to optimize solutions and workflows.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with dashboards and integrations.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with big data technologies and ETL processes.
- Hands-on-experience with machine learning techniques, data modeling, LLMs, Databricks, and Amazon Sagemaker.
- Familiarity with cloud-native tools and technologies and storage.
- Managed Healthcare experience or knowledge of health insurance concepts, preferably Risk adjustment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to present complex data insights to stakeholders.
