Requirements
- Master’s degree or its foreign equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related quantitative field and 3 years of experience as a Product Control Analyst, Financial Analyst or related position involving drafting financial statements for a global bank
- Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in the stated fields and 5 years of the specified progressive, post-baccalaureate experience
- 3 years of experience must include: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint; Pearl, FRM; Financial analysis; Regulatory compliance; Cross-Functional department collaboration; and Balance Sheet reconciliation.
Responsibilities
- Perform analysis and prepare detailed presentations related to the financial performance of firm utilizing a combination of Excel and PowerPoint
- Contribute to the governance of funding, investing and analytics of the balance sheet
- Participate in managing liquidity and interest rate risk, the capital/legal entity structure and capital planning as well as managing rating agency relationships
- Be involved in capital markets activities including commercial paper and securitization; liquidity, accrual risk oversight and transfer pricing
- Assist in the execution of forward-looking processes including forecasts, strategic plans, operating plans, outlooks, R&O collections, system reconciliations, CFO reviews, quarter end flash results, and quarterly earnings presentations and investor conferences
- Assist in the execution of advanced analysis and insight of organization’s financial results using financial models, Pearl, FRM, Knime and Tableau
- Contribute to the completion of various internal processes including Outlook, CEO Quarterly Business Reviews, Quarterly Multi-Year Multi-Scenario, Regulator and Board decks
- Identify and assist with testing of re-engineering opportunities to enhance processes and controls and achieve best in class practices.
