Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in benefits administration roles REQUIRED.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience and proficiency in Workday Benefits REQUIRED.
- Knowledge of employee benefits programs, regulations (ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, and ACA), and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong customer service orientation and a proactive approach to resolving employee issues.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High degree of confidentiality and discretion.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates benefits programs for Zeta employees, including employee benefits information, insurance plans, enrollment options, eligibility, coverage and claims.
- Counsels employees concerning insurance, benefits, retirement, payroll deductions, death benefits, leave programs, retirement, deferred compensation and other benefits available to employees.
- Development and ownership of Wellness strategies that educate employees understanding of their options to actively participate in promoting their overall well-being through various health and wellness programs.
- Responds to inquiries and provides technical information concerning policies, procedures, guidelines, rules and regulations.
- Advises employees of policy provisions and claims procedures, preparing required documentation, determining claim eligibility and resolving claims issues.
- Troubleshoots and resolves employee issues and concerns regarding benefits, including resolving administrative problems with carrier representatives.
- Coordinates various enrollment activities, conducting training and orientation on the company’s benefits plan, assisting employees with completing enrollment forms, and processing enrollment forms.
- Oversees COBRA and retiree insurance programs.
- Partners with the global benefits team on strategies.
- Establishes and maintains permanent employee benefits records, updating records with retirement, leave and various other information.
- Verifies the calculation of monthly premium statements for all group insurance policies and ensures proper billing and budget charges.
- Manages multiple file transmissions to appropriate vendors.
- Conducts Wellness webinars and event programming along with surveys for data collection needs.
- Collaborates with others to ensure accurate and timely delivery of employee benefits to employees.
- Monitors and audits compliance with policies, regulations, and program objectives.
- Assists with information gathering for annual filings, measurement period, eligibility determination, compliance testing, government filings, and other duties related to the benefit plan administration.
- Assists Benefits team with maintenance and tracking of all legally required documentation in accordance with IRS/DOL requirements, including timely distribution to employees.
- Monitor, analyze and recommend compliance actions for new and evolving benefit legislation.
- Manages FMLA process, coordinating with third-party provider to ensure all appropriate paperwork and notification is sent to employees.

- International benefit knowledge is a plus.
