Requirements
- Minimum 3 year experience in a casual restaurant management position.
- Possess a minimum of 1 year of college.
- Excellent oral, and written communication skills.
- Strong guest service skills and being a team player required.
- Clear understanding of all FOH and BOH restaurant responsibilities.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with draught beer systems required.
Responsibilities
- Working with Lead II’s to make sure that Biergarten is running efficiently.
- Open and close the Biergarten on a regular basis.
- Assist Biergarten Supervisor with Budget and making sure that the Biergarten is favorable on beverage COGS, labor and EBITA.
- Manage the hiring and Biergarten Team members’ new hire training program.
- Plan and conduct Biergarten continued training program and quarterly meetings.
- Supervise, train, motivate, coach and lead part-time Biergarten Team members on a daily basis.
- Provide exceptional guest service and assistance for all Biergarten Staff.
- Responsible for placing all Biergarten beer orders and maintaining proper inventory levels.
- Responsible for conducting monthly Beer inventories and adjusting pricing on beers accordingly.
- Maintain and troubleshoot Biergarten draught system. Ensure highest quality standards are met.
- Ensure that the POS system is updated with correct pricing and food costs for all available menu items.
- Troubleshoot problems with the point of sale system and understand point of sale processes.
- Ensure a safe operation of the Biergarten and adhere to safety/security guidelines.
- Inspect the Biergarten daily for cleanliness and correct problem areas as needed.
- Other responsibilities as directed by the Supervisor and/or Manager.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a high volume restaurant preferred.
