Requirements
- Associates degree or certificate in Biomedical Engineering Technology
- Completion of military technical training program in electronics, electro-mechanics, or biomedical technology
- Equivalent experience in a related field
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with clinicians the planning, design, development, implementation, functionality and evaluation of patient care equipment and systems
- Assist in the analysis, design, testing and implementation of patient care equipment/systems and solutions
- Conduct assessments of the clinical environment and identify opportunities for equipment/system implementations
- Act as a facilitator for changes in the clinical environment
- Work with appropriate business partners and senior clinical staff to advise end-user training on clinical applications
