Requirements
- Undergraduate degree
- 2+ years of experience, ideally within investment banking, management / strategy consulting, or advisory / related valuation or transaction services
- Strong financial analysis, data management and presentation skills
- A high degree of proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
- Detail-oriented focus
- Critical thinking skills, including identifying trends and insights from raw data sets
- High degree of motivation and ability to work well independently
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines and responsibilities
- Strong interpersonal skills to work cross-functionally and manage both internal and external business relationships
Responsibilities
- End-to-end process management across all structured deals including:
- Asset/Portfolio due diligence
- Modeling of proposed structure
- Preparation of investment committee material
- Review of legal documentation
- Management of rating agencies and external stakeholders
- Data analysis and qualitative observation to identify trends across rating agency methodologies and the broader market
- Helping to develop and maintain portfolio management and monitoring tools to support ongoing structure management
- Content creation, for both internal and external stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience and familiarity with structuring and credit investing / leveraged finance markets is a plus
