Requirements
- Graduate from Accredited Radiologic Technology Program
- Successful completion of the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers National Board Examination or ARRT
- Possess and maintain ARRT/ARDMS certification
- BLS certification required within 90 days of hire
Responsibilities
- Perform breast ultrasound, biopsy, and localization procedures
- Verify patient information
- Follow department protocols
- Monitor patients
- Use aseptic techniques
- Assist radiologists
- Provide patient education
- Produce high-quality images
- Minimize repeats
- Maintain accurate documentation
