Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a financial analyst
- Knowledge of tools leveraged to conduct financial analysis, present findings, and track financial performance data, including Microsoft Excel
- Ability to develop cost models and conduct budget analysis to inform solution development or analyses of alternatives
- Ability to estimate and audit production costs, investigate financial result variances, and develop forecasts and reports
- Ability to learn in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree
Responsibilities
- Study the creation of a financial management strategy to assist in enhancing the ability of Industrial Base Policy (IBP) to strengthen and maintain a Defense Industrial Base (DIB)
- Help the team develop cost models and conduct budget analysis to inform solution development or analysis of alternatives
- Assist a team using laws, regulations, and policies to help the client develop well-formed requirements
- Ensure the funding is used efficiently through consistent tracking and communication with project and government leadership
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Department of Defense clients
- Experience with Data Visualization tools and suites, including Tableau
- Knowledge of Department of Defense financial regulations
- Ability to be a self-starter and provide input to high-quality deliverables with minimal direct oversight
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communications skills
