Budget and Financial Analyst – Senior

5+ years of experience developing cost models and conducting budget analysis to inform solution development or analyses of alternatives
Experience estimating and auditing production costs, investigating financial result variances, and developing forecasts and reports
Experience developing hardware and software prototype cost models and evaluating alternative designs for cost effectiveness
Knowledge of techniques used to project full-scale production costs
Knowledge of tools leveraged to conduct financial analysis, present findings, and track financial performance data, including Microsoft Excel
Ability to learn in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree

Study the creation of a financial management strategy to help enhance the ability of Industrial Base Policy (IBP) to strengthen and maintain a Defense Industrial Base (DIB)
Develop cost models and conduct budget analysis to inform solution development or analysis of alternatives
Assist a team using laws, regulations, and policies to help the client develop well-formed requirements
Ensure the funding is used efficiently through consistent tracking and communication with project and government leadership

Experience supporting Department of Defense clients
Experience with data visualization tools and suites, including Tableau
Experience managing one or more direct reports
Experience working with senior military or government officials
Knowledge of Department of Defense financial regulations
Knowledge of PPBE process
Knowledge of Defense Acquisition process and related financial management principles
Possession of excellent verbal and written communications skills
