Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- 1+ years writing Rust code
- Experience designing and maintaining APIs and distributed systems
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience with modern frontend development tools
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Opinions about how to architect scalable codebases
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of Turborepo
- Identify opportunities and lead projects to enhance performance, reliability, and developer experience of CI/CD on Vercel
- Improve developer experience for both large and small codebases
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in CI/CD technologies
- Engage with the open-source community, participate in discussions, and contribute to related projects
- Write clean, efficient, tested, and well-documented code
Preferred Qualifications
- React or Next.js expert
- Experience building ergonomic CLIs
- Experience contributing to or participating in open source projects
- Familiarity with frontend frameworks and their build processes
- Knowledgeable about file systems, graph data structures, and software build systems
