Requirements
- Ability to complete tasks as directed by the Lead Engineer with minimum supervision
- Experience in tenant services, preventive maintenance, equipment monitoring, and general maintenance
- Knowledge of operating mechanical equipment (i.e. chillers, pumps, cooling towers, EMS computer, fire alarm system, etc.)
- Ability to respond to temperature complaints and life safety issues
- Experience in making adjustments to operating HVAC equipment
Responsibilities
- Respond to temperature complaints and other tenant service requests
- Complete preventive maintenance task sheets and report equipment problems to the Lead Engineer
- Record equipment readings and noteworthy operational occurrences in logbooks
- Perform general maintenance tasks such as painting, sweeping, and maintaining lighting
- Make adjustments to HVAC equipment and assist in start-up and shut-down of equipment as required
