Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field
- CPA and/or MBA an asset
- Bilingualism (French and English preferred)
- Dynamic, innovative thinker with excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in research, innovation, investments or a related field considered an asset
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Advanced MS Power Point skills
- Working with large data sets
- KPIs and performance management experience
- SQL (nice to have) – to connect to Datawarehouse
- Power Bi
- SAP knowledge (nice to have) – will help while transitioning to SAP
Responsibilities
- Conducting business analysis and compiling succinct, informative reports on performance, risks and opportunities for senior management.
- Running the main OPEX/CAPEX monthly reports using internal systems.
- Providing operational and investment insights through business and financial analysis (including but not limited to IRRs, ROI, etc).
- Identifying key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and help improve operational and financial performance.
- Assess and identify opportunities to optimize spending and maximize returns.
- Support business partners in finding the root cause of OPEX/CAPEX variances.
- Contribute to the design of new processes and simplification of activities, saving operational efforts to run the reports.
- Participate on building and maintaining a one source of truth for OPEX alongside other analysts.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA and/or MBA an asset
