Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field
  • CPA and/or MBA an asset
  • Bilingualism (French and English preferred)
  • Dynamic, innovative thinker with excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in research, innovation, investments or a related field considered an asset
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Advanced MS Power Point skills
  • Working with large data sets
  • KPIs and performance management experience
  • SQL (nice to have) – to connect to Datawarehouse
  • Power Bi
  • SAP knowledge (nice to have) – will help while transitioning to SAP

Responsibilities

  • Conducting business analysis and compiling succinct, informative reports on performance, risks and opportunities for senior management.
  • Running the main OPEX/CAPEX monthly reports using internal systems.
  • Providing operational and investment insights through business and financial analysis (including but not limited to IRRs, ROI, etc).
  • Identifying key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and help improve operational and financial performance.
  • Assess and identify opportunities to optimize spending and maximize returns.
  • Support business partners in finding the root cause of OPEX/CAPEX variances.
  • Contribute to the design of new processes and simplification of activities, saving operational efforts to run the reports.
  • Participate on building and maintaining a one source of truth for OPEX alongside other analysts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA and/or MBA an asset
  • SQL (nice to have) – to connect to Datawarehouse
  • SAP knowledge (nice to have) – will help while transitioning to SAP
