Requirements
- 3+ years of related work experience – ideally with partnerships in software or fintech companies
- University degree in Engineering/Business/Marketing or other relevant studies
- Fluency in English (fluency in French would be an asset)
- An understanding of the point of sale, digital commerce, and payments space
- Excellent communication skills – you are a true relationship builder
- Passion for software technology in e-commerce / retail / restaurant / payments
- Knowledge of the retail / e-commerce / restaurant/payments industry
Responsibilities
- Develop financial models, presentations, and business cases for strategic partnerships
- Create reporting for a variety of strategic partnerships happening across Lightspeed
- Track and report on progress for milestones and contractual obligations with strategic partners, identify risks and areas for improvement
- Stay up to date on Lightspeed’s strategic projects and in some cases manage the execution of strategic projects and tasks critical to our success
- Maintain accurate and extensive documentation around points of contact and strategic initiatives currently in flight with our biggest partners and for our most strategic projects at Lightspeed
- Communicate with strategic partners and internal stakeholders to resolve issues that impact our customers and internal teams
- Identify the latest trends, patterns, and events in the point of sale, digital commerce, and payments space to leadership teams
- Surface innovative ideas and opportunities for Lightspeed to consider pursuing
- Work with the Corporate Development team in the development and execution of Lightspeed’s M&A strategy
Preferred Qualifications
