Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related degree
  • Seven (7) years of hands-on experience in the Manufacturing and/or Automotive industry
  • Direct experience using and/or implementing Product Lifecycle Management solutions and Product Data Management solutions
  • Experience should include engineering & manufacturing change management (including managing manufacturing deviations), quality management, and Items & BOM management across an enterprise business
  • Demonstrate excellence in innovation, program management, change management, business process optimization, and communications
  • Demonstrate ability to facilitate customer workshops using a variety of techniques
  • Write documents including project schedules, summaries, procedure guides, process diagrams, flow charts, and best practices guides, agendas, and activity summaries
  • Experience working with diverse technical, sales, customer success, and project management teams
  • Must have a working knowledge of software development lifecycle processes and how to operate under structured project management
  • Must have experience conducting workshops, facilitating meetings, and delivering presentations to teams and customers
  • Will break down complex topics into a common language understandable by non-technical/business-oriented audiences
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time, including international travel
  • Knowledge of Manufacturing industry practices, main industry and technology focus areas will be Manufacturing & Automotive
  • Product Lifecycle Management / Product Data Management

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate excellence in strategic thinking, engagement planning, business process optimization, and communications
  • Be a trusted partner to customers and internal Autodesk teams
  • Help Autodesk customers guide transformational change by applying change management methodologies
  • Lead facilitated workshops with Autodesk customers to identify solution opportunities and guide understanding on solution paths
  • Define and track the value of solutions delivered to customers, and help document the impact of customer investment in Autodesk Consulting
  • Participate in the development around new and expanded solutions as part of a comprehensive consulting delivery portfolio
  • Build the Autodesk Consulting brand by demonstrating expertise within the industry, i.e. presenting at Autodesk University and other industry events, publishing articles and position papers on industry trends
  • Lead project delivery efforts, ensuring team members perform to quality
  • Advise on project estimation and create project estimates, as well as participate in business development activities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ten (10) years of hands-on experience in the Manufacturing and/or Automotive industry with Product Lifecycle Management use
  • Direct experience with new product introductions, product portfolio management, and supplier management
  • Experience with change management and quality management in regulated industries (examples include medical device manufacturing, oil & gas, energy, & telecommunications) is a plus
  • Experience with solutions such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and integration of PLM/PDM solutions with these related systems is desired
