Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field, including architecture/design.
  • At least 1 – 2 years of professional experience in a client-facing role.
  • Friendly and personable demeanor, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage workload.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong networking skills.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign.

Responsibilities

  • Work alongside the Principal, Business Development in creating and implementing sales strategies and identifying new markets to enter.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business development opportunities and partners.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with prospects and clients via email, phone, and in person.
  • Field inbound inquiries.
  • Perform cold call outreach.
  • Coordinate and arrange client events, meetings, appointments, and conferences.
  • Assist with preparing proposals, presentations, pitches, and RFP submissions for prospective clients.
  • Write and distribute agendas, proposals, cost estimates, and briefing documents for internal and external meetings.
  • Maintain client databases (CRM) and mailing lists.
  • Track submitted proposals and provide feedback to management, including weekly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Coordinate with the Marketing & PR Team to support Business Development efforts.
  • Represent the firm at industry functions and build external networking relationships.
  • Provide administrative and scheduling support.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A background in sales or marketing is strongly desirable.
