Requirements

  • A Bachelor s degree is preferred.
  • 5 plus years’ experience in the fresh beef and pork industry in the areas of meat sales, meat merchandising, foodservice sales or wholesale fresh meats operations.
  • Excellent computer skills; All Microsoft office skills including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong group presentation skills.
  • Beef and pork merchandising presenting to individual customers or larger groups which may require using knives, band saws, or meat grinder.
  • Travel required includes regular automobile and air travel as the job requires.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating and maintaining all activities duties and responsibilities that will successfully increase fresh beef and pork sales with specific customer assignment(s).
  • Managing all aspects of Tyson Case Ready product specifications.
  • Analyzing primal optimization as it relates to yields and merchandising.
  • Working assigned customer(s) in all aspects of fresh Case Ready business to increase market share.
  • Building sales of new products, addressing and at times investigating to resolution, claims when applicable.
  • Regular face to face meetings with customer is to be expected and managed in coordination with the assigned sales team as applicable.
  • Assisting in yield tests in the CRVA facilities as required and analyzing test results relating to cost to produce.
  • Conducting process and product reviews and audits for assigned retail accounts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
