Requirements

  • 1 – 3 years experience in business development, sales or related field experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience researching, account planning, and prospecting into a list of accounts
  • Proven track record of achieving sales metrics and consistent achievement of year-over-year quota attainment

Responsibilities

  • Outbound identification/development and inbound follow-up on land and expand opportunities within assigned accounts
  • Assigned to multiple sellers to support their accounts
  • May be dedicated to a subset of accounts (e.g., Fed, Sled, OEM)
  • Partner with the sales team to create relationships with existing customers, identifying their potential needs and assist in developing a business case
  • Move solid leads through the funnel, connecting them to a salesperson, and arranging in-person meetings, emails, or phone calls
  • Maintain a pipeline of early-stage leads
  • Maintain activities and related data in CRM system (Salesforce)
  • Perform regular follow-up calls or emails and facilitate communication with existing customers to ensure their satisfaction and identify new potential needs
  • Attend (where necessary) networking events, trade shows, webinars etc. to build relationships and generate leads
  • Achieve goals by qualifying leads and identifying needs that can be addressed by Qlik products; passes lead to appropriate sales resources
  • Incorporate feedback from the Demand Center leaders and sales team to review and revise qualification criteria over time
