Requirements
- BI experience with emphasis on Sisense or other modern BI platforms (Analyst I)
- BI experience with emphasis on Sisense or other modern BI platforms and Oracle BI (OBIEE) (Analyst II)
- Hands-on / technical experience with SQL (Analyst I)
- Hands-on / technical experience with SQL, ODI, R, Python (Analyst II)
Responsibilities
- Gather business requirements and work with Finance Technology group to execute BI software development including research, analysis, design, documentation, testing and implementation
- Troubleshoot BI platform and datawarehouse(s) performance, configuration, transformation and integration issues. Track issues and implement root cause resolutions.
- Establish data integrations and connectivity with third-party data sources
- Embed analytics within internal and external enterprise platforms
- Monitor, maintain and administer BI infrastructure
- Manage third-party software and hosting relationship
- Coordinate BI jobs and tasks in Enterprise scheduler
- Support Corporate Performance Management (CPM) and Reporting applications
- Train users on BI applications and tools
- Assist with ad-hoc projects as required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with implementing, configuring, managing or supporting Modern BI software
- Strong foundation in data architecture and general software development
- Comprehensive knowledge of BI practices and ability to map processes to application functionality
- Experience with data modeling, transformation, mining and reporting tools
- Experience developing dashboards and scorecards
- Understanding of data and context-appropriate visualizations and visualization techniques
- Experience with integration of 3rd party BI software and interfaces
- Experience with multiple data source modeling and integration (JDE, Salesforce, CPM, etc…)
- Experience with .NET, JavaScript, R, and Python a plus
- Exposure to predictive analytics, AI, ML techniques and technology in a BI context
- Proven ability to design and implement BI solutions in a diverse, complex organization
- Leadership & management experience a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong project management skills
- Experience working with other groups to leverage systems to deliver solutions
- Ability to both work as part of a cross-functional team and independently follow established project plans and project management procedures.
- Ability to manage third-party business partners from project design through completion
- Ability to handle multiple commitments and plan assignments to meet deadlines
