Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, design, or technology field; or related field or equivalent combination of education and professional experience
  • 3+ years of banking, financial services, digital, or other relevant work experience
  • 2+ years of product, analysis, technology, and/or design experience
  • Comfortable managing concurrent projects in a fast-based, results-driven environment
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, leading work autonomously, and making independent decisions
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Well-developed analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
  • Solid understanding of trends in technology and in the financial services industry

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the administration, implementations, and issue resolution for related BI tools including Qlik, PowerBI, Tableau, Microstrategy, Alteryx, Sigma, and Trix
  • Act as the Rally Product Owner for BI tools, ensuring that all work aligns with business objectives
  • Lead the change management process for BI tools, ensuring changes are approved and documented
  • Manage incident and problem tickets to ensure prompt resolution and minimal service disruption
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure BI tools and services align with business needs
  • Identify and mitigate risks to BI tool support and ensure compliance with industry standards and internal procedures
  • Drive operating efficiencies through performance improvements and implement automation opportunities to optimize BI operations
  • Provide quarterly updates and presentations for Program Increments (PI)
  • Coordinate the onboarding of new BI tools, ensuring smooth integration with existing systems and processes
  • Provide training on incident and change management processes to new team members

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with BI tools (Qlik, PowerBI, Tableau, Microstrategy, Alteryx, Sigma, Trix)
  • Strong technical background in BI operations with hands-on experience in upgrades, migrations, and incident management
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, specifically Rally or similar tools for managing product initiatives
  • Experience in change management, incident/problem management, and ITIL best practices
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional relationships and drive results
  • Strong mentoring and training abilities to support new team members
  • Certifications in BI tools, Agile (e.g., Scrum Master), or ITIL
  • Experience with cloud-based BI platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
  • Focus on driving automation and continuous improvement in BI operations
