- Strong analytical and quantitative skills and the ability to independently generate strategic insights from data.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including strong PowerPoint / deck-writing skills; capable of catering a message appropriately for a given audience.
- Brings structure to ambiguous problems and possesses the ability to frame key questions and develop a workplan to answer them.
- Ability to scope projects, deliver results against set expectations, timelines, budgets, etc.
- Highly motivated self-starter who is performance driven.
- Able to juggle competing priorities and flow to the most critical work. Comfortable stepping out of comfort zone to enable the organization.
- Enjoys working in a team environment.
- Knowledge of key players, dynamics and trends, key industry analyses and metrics, etc.
- Ability to manage and influence senior-level stakeholders.
- Knowledge of the K-C organization, brands, metrics, etc.; enthusiastic about the potential strategic options facing Kimberly-Clark.
- Demonstrated track record of success working in a fast-paced setting.
- Ability to interface, communicate with, and influence multiple functions and leadership levels.
- LEAN/AGILE/Continuous Improvement experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in business related fields such as Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Economics, Finance, Supply Chain.
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in a business operation, project management or strategy focused role or another equivalent combination of education and experience.
Responsibilities
- Work independently to maximize the performance of the business unit through coordination, facilitation, analytics, and best practice development of business decision making processes, leveraging depth of work experiences.
- Guide the Strategic Business Plan (SBP) development and check & adjust processes to create business unit plans needed to meet long-term business commitments.
- Facilitate the ABP (annual business plan process) to create one year business plans to ensure delivery of short-term business requirements.
- Lead business unit prioritization processes to ensure resource allocation flows to highest priority projects aligned to strategic priorities.
- Monitor process adherence and improvement opportunities through participation in monthly S&OP cycle and brand meetings, providing complete yet concise reviews for brand teams while meeting Global S&OP standards.
- Lead the planning and execution of key Business Unit Communication forums including townhalls and huddles.
- Lead the innovation governance process ensuring that we deliver game changing innovation to market.
- Partner with business unit leaders to design and execute team operating processes and systems, both short and long term in nature including score carding, metrics tracking to identify complex issues that cross functional boundaries.
- Provide thought leadership to identify and lead and project manage strategic business level initiatives.
- Serves as key contributor in the development of business processes and operational plans in support of the business strategies and global standards.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts across core business processes.
- Leads core business operations for Family Care including leadership team operations support.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in the context of a large, complex, global organization where working across boundaries and leading through influence are keys to success considered a plus.
